Sri Lanka APLF Champions in Media Campaign
to break the silence on HIV and AIDS

APLF Sri Lanka successfully engaged three champions in its advocacy efforts for raising general public awareness on HIV and in particular countering stigma and discrimination related to HIV.  The champions are Anarkali Akarshaa, a famous actress, Kumara Sangakkara a rising cricket star and Dian Gomes, CEO of one of the country's largest holding companies.  The champions have been featured continuously in both print and electronic media with simple, straight forward and touching messages in English, Singhalese and Tamil.
