Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN)

APLF provided support to ASEAN to review the ASEAN Work Programme on HIV/AIDS II (2002-2005) and to prepare the framework for the ASEAN Work Programme on HIV and AIDS III (2006-2010). These were endorsed by the ASEAN Task Force on AIDS in October 2005 and will be put forward for adoption by the 11th ASEAN Summit in December 2005. The support provided by APLF is part of ongoing collaboration between UNAIDS and ASEAN to integrate HIV/AIDS into ASEAN member countries policies and programmes .
